Protecting objects at risk
The V&A’s Culture in Crisis programme supports communities whose cultural heritage is at risk due to conflict, criminal acts or the climate crisis. The programme is an international forum for sharing information and supporting action, such as developing strategies to prevent cultural objects being traded illegally.
We understand the impact felt by a community when its cultural heritage is threatened or lost. We work to broaden awareness of this and support protecting it in all forms regardless of nation or politics.
