Activity at Storehouse
During your visit you may see and hear activity by staff who look after, conserve, photograph, document, move and install our collections. These activities make displays like this one possible.
You may also come across a range of materials and tools that we use to protect and display objects and make them safe for visitors to access. The box you can see here is made from inert materials (that don’t react with the object or environment) to protect the ‘Sydney Opera House’ hat stored inside it.
