Frank Lloyd Wright: Beyond an icon

Architect and designer Frank Lloyd Wright became ultra-popular for his new architectural style blending geometry and nature. His ground-breaking designs had a wide range of influences, from his training with American architect Louis Henry Sullivan to his love of Japanese woodblock prints.

In turn, his work has been a source of inspiration across the globe, including for architects Kengo Kuma in Japan and Rudolph Schindler in Austria and American sculptor Mark Lindquist. And so the creative cycle continues.
