Using our collection as inspiration
'We wanted to use the chair to talk about what's important to us,' explains Yasmin, one of ten students from School21 in Stratford who worked with makers from the Blackhorse Workshop in Walthamstow to design and build their own chair.
The students used the chairs from the V&A collection that you can see here for inspiration. The group created a model for an office chair, which they used as a canvas to display logos of social causes and movements they support.
