Mount-making and packing

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes at the V&A to transport objects safely and securely. The Technical Services Team are responsible for creating packing solutions to move objects between sites, for loans around the world, or for community and school projects.

Museum objects also need support when on display. Technical Services design solutions like mounts and mannequins to hold an object in a functional and discrete way.
