What objects are people looking at today?
The Clothworkers' Centre for the Study and Conservation of Textiles and Fashion is a study room that opens up the V&A collections for everyone, for free. On any day, you might see a fashion student learning about pattern from a Vivienne Westwood gown, a person connecting to their family heritage by leafing through Notting Hill Carnival memorabilia, or a researcher finding costume inspiration for a TV drama. The items on these shelves are ready for today’s research appointments.
