Designing the V&A East uniform
We worked with Hackney Wick-based menswear designer Robyn Lynch to co-create a uniform for our Front of House team. We needed to create a garment that was functional, comfortable and enjoyable to wear.
Inspired by American 1990s fishermen’s jackets, and produced entirely in the UK, the V&A East vest speaks to the working environment of our building, and celebrates making and workwear heritage. The silhouette can be adjusted via a concealed cord to suit the wearer’s personal style.
