Artistic practice in our docklands
Art in the Docks is an artist-led social enterprise in Newham that offers creative activities to support people’s wellbeing. This display brings together objects from the V&A collection that are rooted
in the colourful history of the London Docks as places of movement, exchange and community. We’ve also displayed a mosaic inspired by the collection that we made collaboratively in the Creative Studios at Storehouse. Together, the objects weave stories of life, memory and creativity, inviting the viewer to journey across time and place.
