How Art Fund has built our collection
V&A East Storehouse has just been shortlisted for Art Fund Museum of the Year! To celebrate, over the past 48 hours curators and technicians have reviewed the 3,500 objects at Storehouse that we have been able to collect thanks to the generosity of Art Fund members over the past 12 decades.
One of the joys of curating at Storehouse is that we have designed systems so we can put together displays like this in a matter of days, a process that in most museums takes months if not years.
